Civic Series chosen as a finalist for Young Women in Digital’s What’s Your Side Hustle

The Civic Series was selected as the 2nd place winner for Young Women in Digital’s “What’s Your Hustle” pitch competition!

Last night (6/25/14), I spoke to over 60 entrepreneurial women about the Civic Series, what YWD calls my “side hustle” — a passion project or a small business run when not working a full-time job. Each of the 4 finalists were given 3-4 minutes to pitch our hustle, and we were awarded the opportunity to win mentorship sessions from top entrepreneurs in Boston. As the 2nd place winner, the Civic Series will still receive mentorship from marketing and business professionals, and I also got to share our mission with passionate, powerful, pro-active women in the area.
