Tax Reform: What do I need to know?

March 27, 2018

The tax bill was a big deal. But how much do you know about it? As an issue that effects our work, our nonprofits, and our paychecks, this is a terrific opportunity to get your questions answered.

  • What will tax reform mean in the future, especially given long-term considerations like environmental and social impacts?
  • How can we as informed and impact-oriented folks effectively engage with this topic?
  • What shifts will there be for corporations, public services, and individuals?

Christina Rice, Director of the Graduate Tax Reform program at BU Law School, and Rob Wilson, Research Analyst with MFS Investments, will be breaking down the issue for us. Seats are limited, so sign up ASAP on Eventbrite!

For the first time, BASIC, Net Impact Boston, and Civic Series will be joining forces to help you think for yourself about the most critical issues of our time. We’ll start around 6:15 and then our speakers will give a 30-45 minute overview, followed by extensive Q&A and discussion. Hang out after the event to grab a drink with other attendees and our speakers!
